I was just wondering whether the main BAD GUY in the Torah, the Bible, the Koran, (insert your belief system book here) is the same dude.
If so, why are we focusing on the semantics of the name of GOD when we all have the same freakin' ENEMY!?!
LAST KISS
Donde, o donde, puede estar mi amor?
Su alma y su corazon etan con Dios
Se fue al Cielo, y tengo que ser bueno
Para ver a mi amor al partir de este mundo
She got her orders and she left for the war
She didn't know it would get this far
But she's good and she went ahead
Now I sleep with my lonely bed
I keep on thinking of her everynight
And hope she's fighting for what is right
But I couldn't sleep so I watched the news
I saw her picture and my heart was lost
Oh where, oh where, can my baby be?
The lord took her away from me
She’s gone to heaven, so I’ve got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world
I cried out but my pain couldn't make a sound
My knees lost hope and found the ground
I couldn't believe what's right in front of my eyes
I lost my heart this very night
I remembered the day she left and said
Hold me darling, just a little while
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I will miss
Well now she’s gone, I know this is not right
I lost my love, my life, tonight

Oh where, oh where, can my baby be?
The lord took her away from me
She’s gone to heaven, so I’ve got to be good
So I can see my baby when I leave this world

*adaptation of pearl jam's song "Last Kiss"
Let them eat leftovers
Let them eat leftovers
poison their wine
paint black their waters
a mudpit for their shrine
Let them die in her womb
for Oil and Gold
dig out their tombs
their lives you have sold
Let the mothers weep
as we ponder on what we did
put them all to sleep
as they cry out and fade
Is it too late?
Is it our hate?
Is it our fate?
Our human state?

Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD)
MAD had been the winning strategy used in the Cold War. It marked the beginning of living in fear, where at any moment, the world could come to an end. With the end of the Cold War and the start of the new War Against Terrorism, the world has to come into terms with the failure of using MAD as a strategy against organized terror.
WMD's are now not in the hands of world leaders but amongst guerilla based terror cells. How can an army combat an enemy that can hide within its own borders? The means to defeat each other involves the killing of innocent individuals -- are these people acceptable losses? We should not use the Pontius Pilate Defense and wash our hands from our responsibilites in order to sleep better at night!
The key is to understand the fundamental issue at hand.
POVERTY
When 458 people own half of the world's wealth, there is something wrong with the picture. Do you want to be the 459th? or do you want the rest of the world wake up from their inherited suffering?
Please study the numbers (all of them! not just the ones that pleases your inner beliefs) and you will start to understand to roots of all the violence.
